MIT Study Shows Uber and Lyft drivers make about $3.37 per hour
According to the study, this is how much they make BEFORE taxes, taking into consideration operating expenses. The study also shows they have a very high turnover rate, with only 4% of drivers staying on after one year.

Empress Love
I've been unemployed for 2 years. I've exhausted evey dime I've had saved. I wanted to open an Assisted Living Facility however that has not happened for me. I've also driven for UBER/Lyft and have spent more than I'm making. I've now been sending out my resume for about 3 or 4 months and not even one call. I know I've sent out about 140 resumes to date. I'm about to lose where I live and I'm really desperate for work that pays a living wage. I've tried a few temp agencies and nothing. I'm a positive person and believe things will turn about however being in this situation is unnerving, and stressful. Any help will be appreciated.
