My advice to people interested in working at #TheBuffalonews as a #Mailroomhelper ...

I would say it's a great opportunity to work long as you go to work to keep yourself working and do what's requested communicate with those that are running the floor so that you know actually what you're doing and not follow those who've been there longer because they can steer you wrong out of intimidation jealousy or just because but because of all of my experience I really really really want to work back at the Buffalo news again and I would hope that I would be given an opportunity to do so because I came out injured I didn't lose it because they fired me I was in fire so for that reason I really would hope after my healing I get an opportunity to work back there again it's a great place to work benefits and scheduling as long as you do your job

The biggest mistake I made as a #Mailroomhelper at #TheBuffalonews ...

my biggest mistake was opening my mouth thinking that some young ladies who set me up in the ladies room we're joking me if you recall the movies or the sitcom pumped they would perform jokes or little ploys to punk you off or set you up in which my case it was a setup because I made a comment that I never would have made have the young lady who was a journeyman at the time and a few other ladies who been there longer than I had really felt that way about the comment she made if she had reported it to the main office I never would have thought it to be a joke so I never would have put my foot in my mouth by making a comment thinking that it was a joke

it could appear to be stressful if you're working your job and you have journeyman who slack on doing their duty and it makes it appear as if you're not able to handle your job because they're assisting you and what you need to do as far as inserts so because they've been there for so many years they have a lighter load to carry and figure I'm a journeyman I started where you are so I'm above doing what you do even though we're assigned to work together so that can be a little stressful because you end up doing two people's jobs instead of one but I'm there to work so

Drama at #TheBuffalonews

sad to know that if co-workers don't like you they can ruin it for you either because they've been there for longer and they were someone used to being dealt with even if they knew they were troublemakers you got wrote up because someone got to a superior first and if they didn't like you than you were guilty or someone like I didn't set you up and manipulated the bosses by again being liked and you weren't so they believe their lies for some of my life I really experienced the LIE becoming the true sad and hurtful but God prevail because I was able to keep my job although they thought it was out of a mainly me needing it instead of just the fact that I appreciate it being a good worker

What I loved working at #TheBuffalonews

the shifts in the way they work were very convenient for my lifestyle if I couldn't work the morning the afternoon or the evening would have been available for the same day so it still wasn't a productive day regardless of me missing one shift I had an opportunity to make another one
