Since my accident while driving for Lyft I am without a vehicle and reside near a handful of warehouses I decided to check those within walking distance. Most want you to go through a temp agency which I didn't want because I need a full salary. I finally get the ok from one. I fill out application then had a fone interview 2 days later I get call for in person interview then a walk through. 3 1/2 wks no response so I contact the temp within the company. Yesterday had interview walk through mouth swab and selected my shift. Looking good. Told me I'd get email today if swab came back clear so I can fill out necessarily paperwork so I can start Monday. I got call today saying all candidates names passed to HR he was told they have a hold on mines because they still reviewing. WHAT reviewing there is ppl who getting hired everyday what's the hold up. If not trying to give me a job just say so I'm a grown woman I can handle it. This on hold isn't Kool . I called left message bout 2 wks ago no response. Do I call again or should I just forget about being hired ????

The other day, my old employer contacted me to offer me a four month temp contract. I said “Thanks, but no thanks”. Later that night, I was looking on Indeed and noticed a whole bunch of 4 month contracts now. It used to be 6 months plus. What the heck is up with four month temp contract now? How in the world does an employer expect you to come in there, learn the job perfect-fully and complete the project in four months? Better yet, who would want to put that on their resume? Four months isn’t even enough time to get your butt warm in the chair. Seriously, that’s insane and I hope no one takes these jobs. They may promise to extend those contracts or convert them to full time, but anyone who has worked one of jobs knows that’s a lie.

I have been recently working at the prison through a registry Teema and one day my boss just took me off the schedule I have been trying to contact her for over 3weeks now and she has not called or texed or emailed me back...Why do you think she will not contact me back?
