What I loved about working at Subway was

Every customer I spoke to treated me not only like I was creating their sandwich but always noticed my smile on my face and I loved the different conversations with different people and at different times of the day. In the morning shift I would have regular customers show up to subway with a coffee for me and a story to tell while I prepped my line. Working at subway was a blessing and I miss it a lot but I lost my grandfather and a very close friend to be in Virginia in 2015 and it was extremely hard being 6 1/2 hours away from home and loved ones. It was time for me to come home, but I have no regrets at all working at subway!!

I decided to work for #Subway because...

Just needed a job. Work environment is to stressful. Manager lacks professionalism. Customers were great though. Coworkers were fun to work around. All together I understand the high turnovers that the restaurant dealt with. I only worked there for about 2 months and had to find another job. I suggest they find them a new manager and I think it would be nice for high school students. Until then I wouldn't advise anyone to work here.

What IS professional attire??

So I’m signed up for the job fair and I have a question on what I should wear. I was told to wear “professional attire” but what does that really mean? When I worked at Subway that meant a subway shirt and hat.. I want to make a good impression here but I can’t afford buying a new suit for this. That’s why I NEED a job!!! Thanks in advance.

I #landedMYjob at #Subway by...

My experince from 2014 year. Progressed and got promoted 3 times to land the title assistant manager. Subway doesnt pay alot as an assistant manager. They pay me $8.00 an hour and no health benefits at all. They also as well work you more and its not worth hurting yourself for little pay.

I kept myself motivated at #Subway by

Thinking about my pay check. Honestly working at Subway was harder mentally than it should be. I wouldn’t work there again even if my life depended on it.

Still new, lots of questions...

Hey, still trying to figure this out... I am getting recommended to jobs by people based on my profile, but I don't really understand what's going on. I would like to at least to get to know the people who are recommending me jobs. Even so, I still have a few questions. I live in mountain view, hickory, NC, but I need to get an application to places near me, since I don't drive yet. Can anyone help me get an application to somewhere like Hardees or Subway?
