My advice to people interested in working at #SoftScript,Inc as a #MedicalTranscriptionist ...
Among the best aspects of working here I’d say, firstly, is the autonomy. There’re a few days of supervision (unless you’ve zero experience) and then you’re on your own. The accounts vary widely, but for a seasoned MT should be a fairly easy acclimation. As with any transcription job, there’re good ones and bad ones - no two ways about it. That’s just part of the job and expected/understood. My personal favorite aspect was the straight typing (no speech/voice recognition), which makes your proofreading so much easier. I do believe the pay scale could be improved upon, especially for qualified folks. I’d definitely work here again.

The biggest mistake I made as a #MedicalTranscriptionist at #SoftScript,Inc ...
Biggest mistake? Expecting commensurate pay with experience. And expecting the promised bonus that never came.

A stressful #SoftScript,Inc day
The most stressful days at SoftScript would probably be when transferring to a new account, having to learn the new specifics quickly.

Drama at #SoftScript,Inc
I don’t think anyone ever got angry with me for any reason while working at SoftScript. Except maybe when I had to correct a QA issue that was obviously wrong.
