On how a thrift store operates from donations to production and then to sales, I've been working for Savers for 10 yrs which gave me a wide range of experience. Out of all i preferred production.

I went above and beyond on a daily basis. I took on multiple tasks regularly because I saw that things where not getting done that needed to.and something's were getting done but not correctly. So I would then make those tasks and make them a permanent task on my list of jobs that I was responsible for.
