My advice to people interested in working at #ROICOMUSALLC as a #ApparelManufacturers ...

First of all, I would not recommend anyone to work at ROICOM. If they were going to work there, I would tell them to play the political game, that will be the only reason you are taken into consideration. Your work will not speak for itself or allow you to keep your job.

The biggest mistake I made as a #ApparelManufacturers at #ROICOMUSALLC ...

I believed that the executive team would watch out for my best interest as long as I met their expectations.

A day when we found out we were getting a contract, and that HR was going to have to hire 300 employees. Most of the people were stressed. I already had a recruiting plan in action. I hired over 200 employees that were needed in less than three months.

Drama at #ROICOMUSALLC

I dealt with it in a respectful and professional way. The employee did not like the answer I gave her regarding an increase in pay. HR, if done right, does not come with popularity. HR should foster respect at all times, even if the employee does not like the response.

What I loved working at #ROICOMUSALLC

The majority of the production employees recognized my efforts and they demonstrated their appreciation. I liked the employees.

I did something fantastic at #ROICOMUSALLC when I...

This was start up operation with a company that had very poor leadership and infrastructure. I came in with the company only having 80 employees. By the time I left I had increased the headcount to 320. I was the sole person in human resources. I got an assistant in August 2017. I created a positive work environment without the support of my immediate Supervisor or the CEO. I created an environment based on respect and customer service. Employees knew where they stood with the HR Department. They were all treated fairly and with dignity. They knew they could approach me at any time, and I would give them an answer or respond their needs.
