Unemployed

Marquisha Cork you don't know me, but Just keep trying other places. Target, Burlington Coat Retail, you have the skills to apply at any retail job. Do some research and spruce up your resume'. There are alot of free websites you can get ideas from to do that. Don't worry about the small stuff. Walmart is not the only place who is hiring. So you've have a rock you have to kick around, don't roll it and kick it to where it becomes a boulder and much harder to move forward. It's unfair Walmart decided to throw you a curve ball by hiring you and then letting you go, put that catchers mitt up and catch that ball...STRIKEM' OUT! There are gov't and state agencies you can seek out to help you stay afloat until you land that job. Go to (tx.gov) or (texas.gov) and get registered for information to be sent to your email about possible positions of employment with the gov't. Register/Call your local Health and Human Services Agency to have a Job Training Specialist - Case Manager appointment set up. Have you applied for Unemployment Benefits with your state? You have a child your Health and Human Services Agency can get you registered for benefits so you are able to put groceries on the table. Keep a look out from your local community Outreach Programs to sign up for and it's free giving to those in need. These are programs to help you through this time as you are seeking employment. All is confidential they can also help if you need Free legal help and point you in the right direction. All is not lost because Walmart doesn't want to give you a chance. Keep your chin up and stay focused on what's important, it ain't Walmart. I wouldn't waste my precious time calling the corporate office and begging for a job or even asking for a reason Why they reniged on a promise of the hiring. I call it "AWOFTAM" ...A Waste Of Time & F'n Money!

I need advice from you.

I'm Brian , and looking to find my own apartment since, i have an uncle that seems to drive me out into the world, that somehow I'll be ok. I know section 8 is out there and the lists are so long. Does anyone know of financial assistance that i can contact for a deposit and rent? I just started paying child support after a divorce. which is great, because i want to support my daughter, after being at a part time job, fifth day and been out of work for after a year. which I'd like to be on my own, but still need another job in rockford, illinois to keep it going. The part time job , I have right now is third-shift. 11:30-6am. thanks for any and all advice.

On This Veterans Day...

As we pause to honor the millions of brave men and women who serve or have served in our Armed Forces we feel it’s also important to remember the challenges our returning Heroes encounter while transitioning back into civilian life. Seeking and obtaining employment continues to be one of the major concerns affecting our transitioning US service members.

The US Department of Labor Statistics estimates the unemployment rate for post Gulf-War II veterans to be as high as 4.3% in Oct/2016 compared to the national unemployment rate of 4.5% which is remarkably close considering the growing job market and corporate emphasis on the Veteran Recruitment Appointment, (VRA) effort which was originally designed as a non-compete hiring agreement granting qualified Veterans hiring priority during the job application process.

Our goal is to continue to provide our military Jobcase members and their families a collaborative effort of relative career development and job opportunities information. In order to maintain this initiative we’ve designed a quick list of employment, education, and support services readily available and equipped with the proper resources to provide service Veterans with aid and guidance during their military to civilian transitioning period. Please click on any of the resources listed below to access webpages with more information. You can also click on #Veterans to see more Veterans Day announcements, conversations, and hiring events happening in your area.

Stay connected with us in the Jobcase community and reach out to other members with questions, comments, or concerns. We want to know how you feel. Go to the Jobcase Community today and share your experience and Thank You for Your Service!

Hi I am looking for the rules to filing a workers comp claim in general and what are the chances of winning a claim that is solely filled for stress.

HEEELLLPPPP MMEEEEE.

its the first time I'm in dyer need of help...was homeless once.. anyone know of any organization that can help a person who worked all the time. and now is without work. to help pay my rent? not an apartment but a room..and what makes matters more worse. I cant apply for any government help because I rent a room' from a friend, . or could I... I'm already two weeks behind.. my room mate is getting some type of assistance. not sure what. but I know she gets food stamps.. and if I apply for anything it will mess her up. I need some type of resolution or I'm on the streets. I've depleted my bank account, which was nothing, for I lived check by check.
