I did it. I went back to the factory. Not a major conglomerate... a small folksy 30 employee factory. I preferred driving, delivery, comfy, plush over factory work plenty of times over the past 10 years; but, if I am to be successful to myself and my family, a brotha need to get that paper. In 2017? Take this piece of advice: stay on ya grind. If it's a job, grind out 8 hours, and if they offer you 4,ot, tell em u can work 2ot. I knew the owners when they were not owners but employee. I asked if they could use part time mechanic until I got my hipp replaced through the V.A. Hospital. Those men liked how I worked, & told me if I ever needed a job they would hire me. Later, as I was in need, of a job, I saw them, Asked and received. Temporary work.

One of my former employer calls me back to work for them keep in mind I'm already working. So they asked me to come back, we negotiated pay and i return. The week I'm back they send me out of town to do a few projects. I'm gone for three months and some. Get back, go to Vegas for a week,which i had informed them before my coming back to work for them this trip was already planned. Get back from Vegas go to work and before lunch I'm told they gonna have to let me go. Now I'll worked for this same company on and off for more than 15years as a supervisor. So I've been on 2 interviews for Baylor College if Medicine and no call backs! A little history.. I have worked at Baylor College before,for ten years. My position there transitioned to Tch. I'm no longer at Tch and wanted to go back to Baylor ( I never wanted to leave) but had to. Now I'm applying and have all the experience needed,but always get an email saying we are impressed with your experience but chose a candidate that better fits the position??? Each time I apply not understanding this since I know the systems and wouldn't require any training
