I find that it's hard to find employment do to criminal history, I have 3 felonies. Utah likes to pass them out like parking tickets, I don't think it should define me as a person, or my work ability, it's been years since the last, I am since more "in tune" with the universe and more spiritual, I am a problem solver, have wide knowledge in mechanics, and can handle most residential repairs and a lot of commercial, I have yet to run into something I cannot fix, and believe I am a great leader

Assistant Manager at Burger King

No, when hiring they don't really do a background check. At most call your past employers.

Who hires felons. People for who they are over the mistakes they made. I’m so much more than my record. One bad thing ? Extremely smart. Funny. Outgoing. Won’t let you down. Dm me. Yes I have tattoo. No it’s not a felony of murder. Nothing horrible?

You can check my post with resources about second chances job leads and tips. There was also a great discussion where many members chimed in about job search advice after incarceration. Check them out!

No matter what never give up

I spent almost 23 years in side and every job I had when I was home were high paying jobs and everyone told me that I would not get the job I'm honest right up front and I make sure that I don't hide my pass because it will come back and bite you so this way I don't get the job and they hire someone who is better for it im fine if they hire Billy Bob from tacobell drive through then the time I did and use my head for learning I file suit and that is what we have to do because are own government don't allow discrimination unless you are a conservative felon so I just started back to work announce self contractor who does my own work and get paid right right the way I should be that's the only way I can get any kind of fair treatment in this country
