Why is it so hard to get a job with a background whether or not you have been charged. Some of these companies pick and choose who they already want. I know ppl have way worst backgrounds and can get good paying jobs.I guess it's who you know. ?

Its not who you know so much as what you DO and do NOT DO. You have more power than you think you do. Start the change by rejecting any feeling of helplessness. Tell yourself that you have POWER to change your life. Then go KICK it. KICK it good.

By law, past employers are not allowed to say why a person left their emplyment. All they are able to say is yes they worked here, and yes or no they were dependable.

They say felony friendly and oh you can get a job still well this is not a fact I don't have violent charges and its still hard to get a factory job when no one wants to hire you even with things the way they are and it's not fair judge if you want but we're still ppl we gotta live too

Got hired at Walmart on Hwy k

And they said after I did my background check it took them from the Monday before thanksgiving to tell me that I’m not qualified candidate yes I have a felony that was in 2008 but I’ve never caught anything after that I didn’t even steal anything my ex friend stole video games not the system like a ps3 and they charged st Charles did saying they were making an example about me Ive been off papers for 8 years have had several jobs and I’m not trying to brag but I’ve never been fired and I couldn’t believe they contacted me Jan 7 th 2022 I’m not good enough. That to me is bs I was 18 when that happened if I was a criminal real one I’d have more charges my credit score which they check too is 704 yea it’s a lil low but I was shocked the interview went so well.

I suggest that you concentrate on turning your life around and then contacting a lawyer to have your record expunged and or sealed.

my felonies are due to having a pipe in my possession and my background report reads in all CAPS "FELONY DANGEROUS DRUGS. Guilty." I didn't even have drugs on me. Just a bit of residue in my pipe each time I was searched. Once when I simply walked into Casino Arizona by myself on my birthday at 7:30am where, in the lobby, stood a casino security guard and a cop who demanded to search my purse claiming it was company policy. And he went through every nook and cranny!! Found my pipe and I got to spend my birthday in the matrix. The other time a friend got pulled over and had a warrant, giving the cops right to search. Since then, 2016, I have lost my North Scottsdale home, my car and all of my possessions. Why? Because I can't get a job!! Why? Because of Arizona law and the PIGS that they are. Everyone hiring background checks!! I used to make $150,000 a year!! Now I'm lucky if I make $150 a week. As for housing... I've only been able to rent rooms and the one I'm in now has been great! By far the best... But, the owner is coming back from Florida in September and I have to move out. What now? With my FELONIES, LOUSY CREDIT and the INSANE RENTAL PRICES... I figure I have two choices. Hang Myself OR Go Gangster!! So, I ask those of you in law enforcement and those of you in high society that determine the laws and due process... What exactly do you gain from my scenario? I can’t pay your $3500 fines, you haven’t locked me up to benefit from my slaved labor… So, how exactly is this situation, like so many others, improving society?! If you ask me… You aren’t in the business of lowering crime. You’re in the business of breeding it!! I’m too chicken to hang myself. Therefore, I must survive! And to survive, criminal activity will take place. Kudos!

Traveling need remote work. Help?

I'm traveling with my wife she's a phlebotomist traveler. I am a felon but tech savvy and would like to work for like a Verizon sales or customer support. Any suggestions on how to get a foot in the door anywhere remote?
