Fix the Right Thing First
If your job search has started to feel discouraging, here is one thing I want you to remember: You do not have to fix everything this week. You just need to fix the right thing first. Try this simple reset: 1. Pick 1 target role and 1 backup role.2. Review your résumé for proof of results, not just duties.3. Make a short list of employers you actually want to pursue.4. Track what you apply to and what gets a response. That alone will put you ahead of a lot of job seekers who are working hard but searching without a system. If you are in the public sector and trying to pivot to private sector work, this reset still applies — but be sure to translate your experience into language employers outside your organization will understand. This week, do not aim for perfect. Aim for clear. I teach this kind of practical strategy every week because too many good people stay stuck longer than they need to. If you want a simple tool to help you organize your search, my HRBN Job Search System & Tracker is a great place to start. What part of your search feels the messiest right now? #job search help, #resume help, #target role, #job search tracker, #public to private transition

What made me stay at #Public Partnerships was
I like being able to care for my client and public partnership provided me the funds to do so. They pay well and on time!!! Good company to work for.

I felt proud to work for #Public Utilities Office when...
I felt proud to be able to see all the different quaint neighborhoods of my city. Sure there were ghetto’s and high crime areas. But these people didn’t ask to be born there. They are just having to do the best they can do under some sometimes very difficult circumstances.

I really loved working for #Public Partnership LLC because...
I love taking care of my patients it fills my soul and spirit to be in service to others .

One thing I would have loved to have at #Public Storage was
The same respect that the white people who worked there had.

Employment opportunities
Just looking what's out there. I'm currently employed by the city of Burlington full time maintenance worker #public works

Favorite story @ #Public
I enjoyed working at Publix but I had to leave due to medical problems and I've got those solved and I wouldn't mind going back to work for him
