My advice to people interested in working at #PridePharmacy as a #PharmacyManager ...
Be careful. This pharmacy is owned by a real estate group and run by someone who knows nothing about pharmacy and had no pharmacy background in his career. I was an exceptional manager for this company. I got them organized, ran a team of 10 people, organized their CII books (which were in complete disarray and in violation with the state board), set them up with a log book for their dispensing machine (another violation), got everyone up to date with their licensure, got a state board inspector to come and inspect my work to ensure we were running a legal pharmacy, pulled all their out of dates (had not been done for a couple years), pulled overstock, streamlined the ordering, promoted our pharmacy in the community and met many of the doctors in the area, developed a strong, trusting clientele, and then got laid off so that the this supervisor (no medical degree of any kind), could hire a friend to replace me. No good deed...

Pharmacists Life
For young pharmacists interested in a career in retail Rite Aid offers a complete package. If your lucky enough to get a permanent store within a half hour of home you should have the perfect life. Up to date computers, full service pharmacies , health benefits, bonuses, alternate weekends. Worst part of business is 12-14 hrs shifts up to 3 days in a row, high technician turnover rate. Open everyday except Xmas.
