My advice to people interested in working at #NorthPennWaterAuthority as a #CustomerServiceSupervisor ...
- Go to work and don't allow yourself to get emotionally involved.
- Drink a lot of coffee.
- Get a job description from the start, and make sure your tasks are clear.
- Make sure that your back is protected as not everyone there has your best interest at heart, even if they smile in your face.
- Trust your instincts.
- Write everything down.
- Don't give and inch as they will take a mile. Don't give a mile when they are expecting an inch.
- Do not perform a task that is not your own and do it well ,as you will become the rightful owner.
- Remember that shining stars can only be seen at night; During the day shining stars are there, but are rarely noticed,
- Go with the flow and mind your P's and Q's . If you can't the answer, I suggest you ask,"Y". The rest of the alphabet is pretty quiet,

The biggest mistake I made as a #CustomerServiceSupervisor at #NorthPennWaterAuthority ...
Trusting people who I thought had my back.

What I loved working at #NorthPennWaterAuthority
I worked there for 12 years and loved what I did . Enjoyed the research aspect of my job, as well as working with the software. I enjoyed troubleshooting and learning new things. At one time I was given the opportunity to do so.
At one time the enviromment was one in which we worked together as a team, and we were each others daytime family. Customer Service can brutal and we supported each, working as a cohesive unit.
The days were never boring and my tasks were varied.
