Trusting a manager that I thought was my friend. She stole my deposit and told her boss that I did not make my drop. However, she was fired and I stayed.

She has been there for years and complains about everything. She is getting on my nerves, what makes it worse, I have been given a project and guess who I have to directly work with!!!! How can I deal with my coworker on this project?
