I just moved to LA from NYC and have been in advertising my entire career. I'm thinking that now since I'm in a new place, with new opportunities, that now would be a great time for me to make the jump over to marketing. How do I do this over here though? Trying to figure out what marketing roles might even be right with my advertising background.

I have owned a company employed ppl, done public relations , marketing , business development for my business for 15 years , received my bachelor's in business communication , 3 class to I graduate with my masters in Strategic Communication.. but when I apply to jobs for public relation specialist, business development, etc they say I don't have enough experience what am I to do ...

I volunteered for the Final Four Fan Fest as an airport greeter and information desk in San Antonio Texas. It was a challenge but great opportunity. Next, I was selected by the Mighty Group to perform more projects on the Dream Week in January Assistant to the Marketing Consultant. This build my confidence to search for a job and network with people.
