I work for an HR company. Employees of the company work mainly at the computer. The traffic of our office shows that these are not always sites to work with. Can the company monitor the computers of employees to find out what sites they visit ? will it be legal?

#computer #internet #poverty #cashstrapped #poor Recently a friend of mine arranged to have a paperback version of my book, The Cash-Strapped Person's Guide to Thriving in the Digital Age, put up for sale on Lulu.com so people who want a paperback book but don't want to deal with Amazon can go there instead. The link is in the first comment.

I've been trying to apply for my first job by trying to see who's hiring near me. Well, I would stop by these stores and restaurants and they would all tell me I need to apply online. I was starting to feel really discouraged because I don't have any internet at home. I didn't know how to apply and then someone suggested that I go to a library. I hadn't even thought of that! I honestly felt kind of dumb. Well, there's a library that's like a 10 minute walk from me, so I stopped by and actually filled out a couple applications. I'm starting to feel so much better about this now that I can actually apply for jobs.

I need to find a new job but I have no internet at my house. I don't even have a computer I can use. I know some people fill out job applications on their phones but it's just too difficult for me. I'm really stressed right now and don't know what to do so I can find a new job. Things just aren't going well right now and I NEED to find something new. HELP!

Because companies now filter resumes via apps versus wording finding employment has totally changed. If you are a professional you need to put key words in your resume and Linkedin pages. Do some homework regarding this. since I started lists my Core Competences as a heading on the first page of my resume I am getting hits daily. Still does not make the process fool proof but it helps.
