Wherever, your "FOCUS" is; that is what you will MANIFEST; if you DESIRE one thing but get another, then reevaluate where you really have been focused! Life is generated by the results of the boomerang effect....."The Law of Cause and Effect". Cause being Mind (how you allow yourself to think) and Effect being the (Manifestation on a physical level). What you generate through mind goes out into the ethereal world build momentum and comes back to you with an unreconcilable force.

I just wanted to say to everyone on here, please don't give up people. I have been looking for a job here in Vegas for 6+ months and it's been hard. I have all the qualifications, two degrees, an updated resume everything that you would think an employer would seek for the position I was applying for which was either an Administrative Assistant or Executive Assistant. I was getting call backs for interviews, I had done everything to secure positions and at some points was offered several jobs which turned out to be either scams or something went wrong with the position but mostly scams. I think they run very prevalent here in Vegas. There were times when I wanted to give up, I was questioning myself and my abilities, I even had gotten very depressed at times. But I finally secured a position with a a wonderful company as an Accounting Assistant and I start tomorrow which I am so happy about but what I realized was that it was all thru prayer. I know that at times it seems as though things are very rough and you won't make it but prayer changes things guys along with perserverence, faith, and alot of support from family and friends and that's what got me thru. You absolutely must believe in yourself and when it seems you can't go on, please don't give up it will happen. It may not happen when you want it to, or when you expect it but it will happen. Just be patient. I had to learn that. IT WILL HAPPEN!!! Just remember that.

Rejection is HARD. I hate it! When I was looking for jobs the other day I found this cool Ted Talk about a guy who purposely TRIES to get rejected for 100 straight days so he can face his fear. You're working with all different ages of kids. You have no idea what their life is like when they get home. You have no clue why they act the way they do. You have to have patience with them at all times. You might be the only one taking the time out to teach them and love them so be mindful at all times. I tell ya man, it is a heck of a job but it's worth it. I sit there and look at these children smiling, laughing, learning and having such a great time. It is such a great experience to take on.

I only wanna say to everyone hold on through whatever your situations are it's only a test as life will throw something's our way continue to push forward but more importantly keep your thoughts positive no matter what even when it's not looking good we gone be ok much love everybody keep god 1st pray for me as I pray for you

As a bellman an valet at the Crown Plaza Hotel.I had a chance to meet a lot of nice people, guests an also fellow co-worker's . Not only was I able to improve my customer service skills but I mastered it I was a lot faster than the other bellman. My main goal was to greet our first I began to stand out from the rest guess started requesting me. After two months from when management created the bellman spot. I was the best bellman everyone that was a Crown Plaza employee knew my name including guests .Crown Plaza Hotel gave me the opportunity to become successful at something that I have passion for an something that I love doing. Customer service to me means if the shoe was on the other foot. How would I want to be treated as a guest just pulling up to a hotel. I know I would want to be treated like I mattered that's how I made our guests feel. I was all ways called upon when we had important guests arriving at the Crown Plaza Hotel the management wanted me there to greet our guests because they knew that are guests was gonna be pleased with my bellman services. I was the highest paid bellman as far as tips. I went on to becoming employee of the month an employee of the year also was nominated for employee of the region. Crown Plaza Hotel gave the opportunity to become successful as a customer service rep for Crown Plaza Hotel before then the job had I never had to interact with no guests I worked at a Body Shop. Makes me wanna push forward in life and succeed.

Having to work every other weekend and odd hours is difficult. You also have to deal with difficult personal problems with people coming off the street. You can't always get vacation time when you want it either. However, seeing the good Lord working in the lives of the residents who go through our Christian-based discipleship program is very rewarding for me as a licensed minister. Also I am impressed with all the volunteers and donators that support this mission and the dedication of the staff.
