I have worked for the McDonalds Corporation twice in my career. Once streight out of high school Worked for 5 yrs. Began as a "Crew Person" Ended as a "Shift Manager". I had awards for employee of the month, and recognition for participating in company functions. It was a huge stepping stone in my employment career. Helped build the appealing qualities that opened doors for me employment wise. Then much later in life (10+years later) I found another need to seek the employment completely because of the schedule flexibility. It was just after giving birth to my child. I was well remembered and offered the job. I offered to start at "Crew Person" worked with them for another 5 yrs. Ended as "Shift Manager"&"PlayPlaceAsst. Manager" A GOOD reason would be: ANSWER- flexible scheduling- competitive wages- free uniforms- discounted meals. A GREAT reason would be: ANSWER- When you work for the Corporation McDonalds as a company treats you respectfully. The company is usually intertwined with the local community events and school/educational programs with means of volunteering and donations. As person affiliated with McDonald's who own/operate/or an employee you gain pride while learning leadership and respect through teamwork and hospitality. Strength in values applied to Quality, Service, and Cleanliness which are #1 characteristics and qualities every employer seeks to find in their employees. Good luck and BEST advice is smile!! I'm tired of going from job to job. Its crazy how if you're not eye candy you get messed with. No matter how hard you work theres always a #Hater. People need to stop the hate & love themselves. #im just saying
