Being asked to lie on documentation to pass product to make shipment dates!

The president of the company was angry over a project that got out of hand and became a pure loss on the books. He felt that the QA dept. Let this happen. Our dept. shut down the project because we found during our inspections poor workmanship. It was his management group that decided that the bad work was acceptable and resumed building the product. The customer was unhappy with the product and we in a meeting was singled out as the fault. We had to sit there and be dressed down by this man because his leadership team lied to him. Poor upper level management skills through out this company!
