Cities helping people avoid eviction
I was encouraged to read in this article that San Francisco & San Jose governments are working on new laws that would not allow landlords to evict people if corona-virus related store or office closures result in people not able to pay their rent. https://www.citylab.com/equity/2020/03/coronavirus-income-loss-paying-rent-eviction-housing-covid19/607426/

Losing Hope!!
I am a professional Chef with both my Certified Executive chef tag and my Certified culinary admin tag. CEC, CCA from the ACF. I have been running kitchens, hospitals, and AL and nursing homes for 20 years. I just turned 56 and have been out of work now for close to 90 days. I have sold, pawned, begged and borrowed to stay afloat so far and I have applied to so many jobs that I am really starting to lose faith. I bet that I have interviewed for at least 2 jobs a week to NO avail!! This is the longest in my entire adult life that I have been without a job. This is causing tension between me and my girl and I am starting to thing that I need to start a new career. I know nothing else and I am really getting scared. Sorry for the vent.

I forgot the dates ...
Damn, I applied at PetSmart. I had to know where I lived in the past 10 years. I forgot the move in and move out dates of a place from over 5 years ago so I cancelled my application.

Mom looking for at home work
I have a child not old enough to be home alone yet. My husband and I own a 12 acre farm and I need 500.00 a month to help out a bit.

Feeling down :/
Feeling really down lately, my wife attempted to start a job at a nearby factory and turned out they didn't need her there, I inquired about the job myself night/day shift but they don't need anyone, been applying to different places and our time is really running out now, we've been getting help but it doesn't seem like there is much work at all around where we are and we don't necessarily have the means to travel to work. Seems like every time we think we found a break it just fades away, soon our last bet may be to try and find work while at a homeless shelter in eauclaire and just try to work our way up from there if we can. We went from both having full time over time jobs to this smh
