Halloween, ironically. I was dressed as a hotdog, by choice, and that didn’t make anything better, but it has nothing to do with how sucky that day was. I was pulling a double, and the first person to come in that morning gave me a two year expired coupon and absolutely flipped on me when I told them I couldn’t accept it. Saying things like I should be fired and that I didn’t know how to do my job. Then they threw their shake at me, and it was only 6 am. Lovely. Then later at shift change I got put on drive thru and had a lady put her cigarette out on my wrist as I was giving her change. No explanation, just put it out there. Like I wasn’t even a person. AND both of my other coworkers who were there left at 8 and it was just me and the shift leader (who didn’t do crap) running the entire store for two hours. So I was drive thru, frontline, and back line. And I was getting yelled at by angry customers for service being so slow. Our stores are supposed to run with maybe 8 people, one for each station, but we’re lucky to have 3 people in the store at one time.
