Women looking for careers in tech...watch this!

#womenintech #Technology #techcareers #hackathon

On January 26, Jobcase sponsored SheHacks, an all-female hackathon in Boston.

One of the many highlights of the event for us was the opportunity to speak with Holly St. Clair, Chief Digital Officer of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, after she delivered her keynote speech on Saturday morning. Holly unsurprisingly had profound wisdom to offer women starting careers in the tech industry, and we wanted to share the video here with you all.

Watch Holly's video below.

PS: Ever been to a hackathon? Next time there’s one in your area, we recommend checking it out! They’re marathon events in which people team up to create and design a software product in a single (hours-long) session. It’s a highly collaborative venture, and the technical skills required to see a project through from concept to completion are vast (coding, graphic design, engineering and programming, to name a few). They’re super fun and a great opportunity to explore the tech world, network and pursue your interests.

We captured lots of great pics from the event and shared them on our Instagram and Twitter pages–follow us to catch up.
