For a newer Officer you will most likely work in the checkpoints. You show up at your scheduled time and location. Most shifts will receive a briefing before shift. Brief on any news or procedure changes that might affect your daily operations. Then start your day and go from position throughout the day. Rotated every 30 mins. There’s extra jobs you can apply for to break the minutia of day to day SOS.
