the 31st of Dec when everyone wants to pay their taxes before the new year and come in at the last minute. Or on the 31 of January when it is the last day for the first half payment. But most of the customers know they just have to wait their turn.

I never had any one getting angry with me. If a question comes up that I cannot answer I ask my boss to come and discuss the issue with the customer.

My advice to people interested in working at #CityofBeaumont as a #CodeEnforcementOfficer ...

It is a great job, with wonderful benefits. But the upper management is very poor. They only care about the higher paying employees.

Dealing with upper management. The supervisor in Code Enforcement treats her employees very unfair, it was very stressful having to deal with someone who didn’t genuinely care about her employees.

Drama at #CityofBeaumont

I never really had citizens get ‘angry’ with me. For the most part, I was always told by citizens how amazing I was doing. The only time there was a citizen who got upset with me was when I sent them a certified letter for a down tree on their property.. which we called ‘litter’ and he said he had lived on this property for many years and has never received a letter, but failed to take care of the issue so we had to go to court for this issue.
