Look for what makes you Happy

Find the right job with the market rearranging its self people should look for the one that suites them and not just because that the only job out there. Work is something you can take pride in and be able to like it is what you do. Be Happy. Remember if you take pride in your work You gotta like what your doing Others will take notice and that's a good thing.# Helping Others #networking #wordsofadvice #advice #motivation #inspiration #experience #stress #employmentopportunities #hiring

35 years of experience. But, WHO CARES?

Experience used to mean something. Not anymore. Even if you have a degree(like me). unless you are in your late 20's to mid 40's--they will NOT hire you. It is age discrimination, which is unlawful. But----WHO CARES?

I've tried everything to get hired. Employers look at my résumé but never get in contact with me. I am new to the area. I have good references an work history. I'm a CNA with over 25 years of experience, Im computer literate.Does being upfront about what days I cant work, hurt me??

What do I say?

So, I had a job where I worked for a school. The owners of the school are my brother and sister in law. They told me that they wanted me to go where I didnt want to go (and they knew it). There's a lot more to it than that, but my question is this? I left because I was not going to be willing to do what they wanted. What do I write when employers ask "Why did you leave this position?" I had been saying Position dissolved, which isnt really true.
