I have been working for Lyft for about two years now and have def seen enough to write a book about the weird stuff people say and do. Just last week I picked up a couple that were screaming at one another. They just got into my car as if I weren't even there and just kept on yelling. I would be so embarrassed but they didn't seem to care. Apparently the gentlemen had been out too late the night before and his (wife?) was less than happy about it. I eventually dropped them at the airport but about 7 times she demanded that I turn around and bring her back to her pickup location. Life is short people, be happy!

Drama at #S&BConstruction/J&JConstructionservices

In my 3rd year I brought my brother in law in to the business because I was busy and needed help. One day while working for the local taco John's who had been a regular customer prior to this incident he showed up drunk. We were there on a floor repair he started to get irritated cause we had to work around employees trying to get food out. He got close to the manager while running off at the mouth, she smelled his breath and pulled me aside and said something to me about it. Long story short we finished the job and they've never called me back since. Shortly after that he moved back to Wyoming and I lost a good customer.

On November 5th 2019 I was fired from a job that I held for 13 years. The company said I was being Fired due to work place violence but I only had an argument with a co-worker that I never got violent and the co-worker said he never felt threaten. I have an arbitration hearing on February 6, 2020 and just want some advice on how to act or what to say during this hearing that might get my job back.

I have been unemployed since January 14th it's been really hard. Especially since I was working for a non-profit organization who constantly targeted me, because of my sexuality. I loved everything about the job, I loved my clients. I wasn't expecting to be hated so much because I was with another woman.

I quit. I told them I would be happy to give them two weeks, I was told to get my stuff and leave. I never received my last check. They still owe me a week's pay, and a months commission check.

Hello, I worked for a company in two different locations. My resume for my age is thin I was on disability for many years. Not being able to afford living on disability it’s important that I use that company on my resume.’old location was only a year and new only 8 months still I am proudness I was able to hold on to a job at all. As luck would have it I moved to a new area where nepotism is in full swing and the rumor mill is small town USA. My new my boss wanted me out for some reason she blew through help like crazy so I made sure to walk on eggshells shells. None the less they concocted a story and had a customer (‘friend of a friend) start in to see if l would react, this way they had an excuse to fire me This company makes decisions out of state the home office. They were not there it was a total lie and set up. I applied for unemployment and was denied. After a trial and appeal I won. It’s really not about the money it helps but I have to work f/t as much as it is the company ruining my. Reputation and preventing me from other jobs in this area where transportation is minimal. Already 3 jobs I didn’t get because of them. #1 I put them on my resume different locations and managers. I never had. Write up at any job. #2 when asked on resume is there anyone you don’t want us to call and why or in any interview what should I say ? They always say don’t say negative things about last job should I just say lack of communication. I was let go but won the hearing? I don’t want to come off as trouble. I also worked extra hard there and think I deserve a decent or honest review. Or just that I worked there. Any thoughts on how to handle? Thanks in advance.

January 6,2020 after 6 years I was terminated because I asked a manager that is friends with one of the owners about merchandise for his brother had not been paid for. My termination paperwork said lack of communication and unable to manage parts department. But the owner was told I up and walked out and took my department with me. I Love cars and I like helping people, the level of disrespect really hurt. I cared about my job because I Loved what I did. I talked to said owner and his body language on the phone was thanks for the call no one will call and ask for help anymore and take care. Sad when you care more about other folks’ property and they act like you don’t matter. They claim to be a Christian oriented family minded dealership. How can you be truthful when bad Service E-Mails get erased out of the system just to look good. They stress how they’re a President’s Club Award winning dealership. I don’t think corporate knows about this

As a Toll and Safety Supervisor issues with disgruntled customer are escalated to me. One example is vehicle class discrepancy , This is normal handle by explaining to the customer that vehicle has to be processed as detected by the system. This help them to understand how the system works and reassure them that they are not been cheated .

One time we had a guest that didn't have Money to pay their rent .So I knew the rules I had to kick them out.I tried everything . I gave them longer to pay.But they couldn't get the money. So then I was the bad person.Sometimes they make me feel bad.And I would pay their rent. But didn't have it that day.And never get my money back. But that's fine every one has it rough once in a time.
