Working at the Dollar Tree Stores for ME means that I can get paid reliably (unlike if I applied through a temp agency); I like the small-ish environment; I want to work hard and get paid, I'm not there to make friends, but, the Corporate belief is that their employees work as "teams" and that doesn't always work. I'm not hating, I'm just giving you information based on the experience I had working there. I actually love working at Dollar Tree Stores because they're smaller and you can buy quite a bit of products, coming out broke if you're not careful with what you buy ! (LoL). I like the smaller environment; I like being able to work on my own, and I hate unloading trucks, but, that's because my back keeps me in chronic pain. I have had some coworkers who are funny and fun to work with, but I want to go back to work and start earning my own money. That's what I am excited about. I have previous experience and I really, really, really like this set up. And the products will always sell. I hope I can get re-hired to work there again, I enjoy working there. Im a former dollar tree employee. I loved working there at First. Dollar Tree is like being in Jr.High. Well The Last Year Before I Excused Myself . I was promoted to Assist. Manager And No I Was Not Properly Trained. A few Months my Boss comes and Says one of Assist.Manager Has To Step down. It Was Me, Long Story Short My Boss Says It Wont Be That Long, Next Thing I Know She promoted one of the other assistant managers. She Lied, She Talked About Other Workers. I Was A Dedicated Worker always There if Someone Called in Sick. Becareful.
