My name is Rachelle, I study graphic design, and I graduated College 2 years ago had two internships and not yet a serious job. It is such a competitive field, and I love Graphic design I love designing and making people happy. I recreate my profile so many times. I got the unfortunate news of being laid-off from my management job as a result of lack of work available. Right before the holidays to top it off. The company I was working for is on the verge and has laid off over half it's staff. The company was under 20 employees when I first started and now it's dwindling down. Of course, anyone who was cross-trained was safe and considered valuable. I was not cross-trained enough to give them comfort that I could manage a bunch of departments at once. Because I was making management level money, I was a liability even though my experience and talent spoke for itself. I freelanced on the side for extra money and some of my clients have offered me more work, however, I need to build more clientele to make a go of it. I feel this may be my best avenue given the status of the industry. A lot of printers are closing down by the boatloads so flexibility and mobility will certainly help. It seems to be the way of the world now. Any advice would be appreciated.

I hate looking for jobs when I’ve never had a job but I do have a bachelors in digital media.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related field required Minimum 5-7 years industry work related experience PE License in any state is required.
