I had the most fun @ #Cvs/caremark when

I really didn't have any fun at CVS/Caremark because it was a very strict place to work at and basically if you weren't close friends with the managers and supervisors you didn't get a break or had fun. The only people there that had fun were the supervisors, managers and employees that were close buddies with the higher ups. Everyone else was always in constant worry about getting fired since they fired everyone for any little thing but yet the buddies could use their cell phones and look at pics on their cell phones while at their desks and browse the internet and not get fired. The supervisors there knew less then the actual call center employees and that is why they never wanted to answer supervisor calls and never had an answer to any of our questions and would just tell us to look it up in our resources. So no this place was not a fun place to work at and you moved up the ladder only if you were buddies with the higher ups and hung out with them.

What I loved working at #CVS

The part I loved about working at CVS was dealing with customers and the customer service skills I gained. I loved satisfying the customers after each sale and the customers leaving with a smile.

Drama at #CVS

It was because I wouldn't sell cigarettes to her under aged son. Manager took my side of course.

I really hated working @ #CVS because...

Possibly the most toxic environment I have ever worked in. People were back stabbing and cliquish. Very nice to your face but would attempt to tear you down as soon as you turned away. Would not acknowledge or appreciate hard work; when you went way above and beyond your actual job. You don't know who, if anyone, to trust. New manager was petty and paranoid. Would listen to the worst people and had no interest in seeing for himself if it was true. Worked entire shifts without saying more than a couple of sentences to anyone working there except for a select few. Absolutely no communication at all. Worst worst place I've worked.

CVS

If you're looking for a position at CVS, I wish you the best of luck. Each location is different, and run differently, based on the manager and team. The time I personally spent working at CVS in OK was terrible; one of the worst jobs I have ever had and hands-down the most toxic! But, as I said, that was my location and I have seen others so much better. Don't let my experience prevent you from trying. Just be aware that there is a high turnover for good reason and although some people apply and get called quickly, sometimes it can take longer. For example, several weeks to more than a month depending on how on-top of it the manager is. Good luck in your job search!
