My advice to people interested in working at #CountryCollectibles as a #Owner/Buyer/Merchandiser ...

As for any business you have to love the product. Love people, most of them anyhow, and have fun at what you do.

The biggest mistake I made as a #Owner/Buyer/Merchandiser at #CountryCollectibles ...

Probably paying more for a piece of merchandise to resell and taking a longer time to sell it.

I sublet space in my building. When it was rent day and one of tenets couldn't pay AGAIN this month, the issue would stress me out a bit.

I still believe the saying the customer is always right but if a connotation would occur, I knew to settle it so we were both happy.

What I loved working at #CountryCollectibles

This was my own business. I knew that I could make it or break it. I loved what I sold and that made it easy to move my merchandise. Commradary with other shop owners and dealers at shows made it a delight.
