We are seeking a hands-on, proactive, collaborative Finance Manager for our fast-paced, non-profit client, located near Middlebury, Vermont.
Responsible for budget management, accounting, financial statement management, compliance and administration. Including: overall strategies and controls, conducting internal control audits, planning, coordinating, and managing the organization’s financial performance, budget forecasting and management, financial and statistical reporting, as well as daily oversight of cost reporting, accounts payable, payroll, billing, and accounts receivable management. Providing financial reports and key operating statistics to the Board; answering financial questions from the customers; assisting employees with payroll questions; training managers and staff regarding financial policies and procedures.
Must have strong financial/accounting, computer (QuickBooks and MS Office), communication, customer service, problem solving, time management and organizational skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business and a minimum of five years of financial management experience. Experience in health care, health service or non-profit is a plus.
