The Importance Of Community at Jobcase and Lyft
#Lyft #Community #My2018Drives
Lyft drivers and riders are fanned out across the entire country, yet the power of the Lyft community transcends this distance. Sound familiar?
Somewhere between reading stories of “random acts of kindness,” the recognition of standout drivers, and the ability for everyone to connect with and learn from each other, it becomes apparent that the sense of community among Lyft drivers is not that different from the actual community here at Jobcase.
There’s something personal about giving someone a ride: the way it can make their day (or yours), that feeling of knowing you’re helping someone out. Even if you have a silent and on-the-phone passenger, still, it’s not a taxi, it’s not a bus...you’re sharing a car – your car – with someone. That’s why the whole Lyft experience is more of an interaction than merely a transaction.
Right now, Jobcase is running a contest for Lyft drivers – we’re giving away a brand-new Ford Fiesta. To enter, we’re asking Lyft drivers to visit our community and share a story of a memorable ride. Visit the contest page to post your story and view details.
“Is this for real?” You might be asking yourself. We assure you: yes, THIS CONTEST IS REAL! We want to help you. Last year’s winner, Mohamed, is pictured below in his new ride, and you can watch the video of the big reveal and read his winning entry.
In our Jobcase community, Lyft drivers are encouraged and empowered to share their experiences. Here at Jobcase, members are the engine of our community: your experiences and points of view are what fuels the journey of others. That’s why we’re asking Lyft drivers to share a story of a memorable drive: a drive where you helped someone out, or laughed so hard you cried, or maybe even made a new friend...a drive that became unforgettable.
We can’t wait to read your story.

Praying for Vegas
Just heartbroken and nauseated waking to news this morning out of Vegas. Praying for victims. Praying for the country. Hard to process such evil actions.
Going to strive to find ways to channel energy into making positive impacts. I am very thankful to be part of communities (such as this one) where people support and respect one another.
Final initial thought - very thankful to first-responders. If you ever doubted the word "hero" for them just imagine the police running into harms way, the ambulance and nurses and doctors working so hard to save lives, etc. Praying for them too! #community #tragedy #pray #vegastragedy

About healthy community
The purpose of the community or local community is a large number of people living in that area.
And this place of residence must be controlled from any point of view And take care of the people of the area. Improve its status from any security point of view, environmental protection, and so on. In summary, any good and evil that occurs in a community or a place of residence is the main factor behind the locals, the people and the people who are influential people.

Looking for a job
Hello! I have been looking for a job since I was terminated from my last job of 10 years in September 2016. My unemployment is going to be running out in March. I'm trying to keep focused on Jesus, but it's really trying. I didn't know finding a job would be this difficult!! Would everyone who prays in the name of Jesus, please keep me in your prayers? I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks so much!
