I really loved working for #Christian Heritage School because...

I liked the students, the work & coworkers & made lasting friendships It was a small school, I liked the freedom 2 have my own experience, style, schedule, a great Manager & coworkers. My expenses for supplies were covered, I could work from home part of the time, very little paperwork or computer work were needed.

I was able to solicit many needed items & supplies for the school as well as items & food for the auctions & class & school fundraisers. I helped create appealing displays for auction sales & other school fundraising.

I met w restaurant managers & owners & to solicit food 4 auctions & celebrations of class, grade, & school events.

SERIOUSLY, who dosen't like to get something for nothing? I liked meeting people getting to the point & getting the donation. On my own schedule. I had very little restrictions. I have had all great jobs at that school.

Hi Everyone! My family has recently relocated to the Nashville, TN area and I am looking at a career change. I have an MA in Christian Counseling from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary in Charlotte, NC and am interested in entering into some type of career counseling, administering psychological and career assessments. I am open to working inside or outside of the church - just really want to help make a difference in someone's life. I am not licensed, but I have passed the national MFT exam. Most career counseling positions that I have come across are geared more towards admissions representatives in a college setting, generating employer leads for students and that sort of assistance. Does anyone have any advice on locating employers/companies/agencies that might offer this kind of work? I have a bit of a mixed background, so if it's helpful my LinkedIn profile has past employment as well as practicums (under education). http://linkedin.com/in/tinaelong. Thanks for reading! I look forward to everyone's responses. #christian #counseling #careerassessment #psychologicalassessments #careercounseling #counseling
