I've been searching for another job/career for about a year while working a job I don't enjoy. There are so many benefits at this company that I stay just for the benefits. This may sound crazy but I get free medicine and my benefits like health insurance is top notch. There will be a MOE (Merger of Equals) between us and another company at the end of the year and a $1500 bonus will be given. Ugh this is so frustrating but I am going to stick it out for the Pros out weigh the Cons. Has anyone else stayed with a company for the Pros? #Pros #Cons #Bonus #benefits #jobsearch

I started a job in July and was promised the world. For example, If I got a doctor to sign on with us, I would receive a bonus each time. That they would make me a manger within a certain time frame. At this time, not of this has happened. I have had two doctor's sign on with us. I was to that I was getting a Christmas bonus and haven't received it yet. When asked what happened they said that my name was on the list but forgot to do it. My boss has asked me to do work favors to help him out, and he would pay me 100 for each task. Needless to say I did them and have not seen the money yet. This was 2 months ago. In order to speak to my supervisor, I had to travel 3 hours to go to the corporate office to have a meeting with him, which he only gave me 20 minutes to speak to him. I had to buy uniforms for my job, which I had done in July and still has not received them. I have tried to speak to my supervisor regarding all of this, but he cuts me off after 3-5 minutes on the phone. I need advice on what to do!!!!!!!

Can anyone give me some advice on this situation?

The situation is I handed my manager my notice of resignation on April 13th. My manager was walking out after I made copies on April 11th and I was home sick on April 12th, so I handed the letter over on the 13th of April, with an effective last day as of April 26th.

Today, which is Monday, April 23rd, I get a letter stating that we will be receiving our Incentive Award bonus this week on payday, which is April 27th. However, the letter states that you must be an active employee on this date to receive the bonus.

I don't really want to change my last day (actually, I think my manager may not accept a revised letter), but if I want to get even some of the bonus, I must wait until the pay date these bonuses are paid on.

Is there anything else I can do legally, since HR just informed us and my manager has not mentioned anything about it before?

Thank you,

Tammie R. Crawford

I heard last month that Lowe's is giving more than 260,000 hourly employees a bonus of up to $1,000 because of some new tax thing. Awesome! Only a good company is willing to put their money back into their workers in my mind. https://www.cnbc.com/2018/02/01/lowes-bonuses-heres-what-employees-will-receive.html

Ever thought about driving for Uber, while your in between jobs, it's a great way to make extra money on your free time and on your own schedule, if you use my Uber promo code: 6Y41E you'll get a bonus after you complete 100 trips, not bad right. You do have to pass a background check and have a vehicle 2005 or newer, there is a program that allows you to lease a car if you don't have a vehicle as well, give it a try. See you on the road....
