My advice to people interested in working at #BlubytheSea as a #Counselor ...
Be cautious. Doing your job well and even going above and beyond does not ensure you will have a job the next day. On the positive side, working with this population and building rapport with clients in a residential setting is an asset to the therspeutic process. The mixture of roles with leading groups , having individual sessions and family therapy was a wonderful experience. Case loads are often very full, which is not a problem... until you get sick or injured and have to miss a few days. This then throws everything out of balance since there is no backup for staff. Become an inconvenience once and even with a dr excuse, you will be let go. Clients-great. No job security or respect and appreciation for the staff.

What I loved working at #BlubytheSea
I loved everything about Blu by the Sea! The co-workers were so good about offering to help you out if they weren't busy themselves. The bosses were awesome! Christen people whose passion was to help every client that came through their doors. Not to mention their generosity to everyone. Great place to work.
