In this role, you'll: • Be a key player of our leadership team and report directly into our Chief Executive Officer • Be responsible for scaling our team and building a culture that will attract top talent • Build an exceptional team of people operations and talent pros to help our company and its provider group achieve its hiring and retention goals • Suggest and implement best-in class tools, and own the end-to-end management of our ATS • Create Mantra's performance review and eNPS process, and work with the leadership team to take action on the results • Review, revise, and administer a comprehensive range of employee benefit programs • Facilitate exceptional cultural and onboarding initiatives/experiences for our NYC office, but also our virtual team
Requirements We are looking for a Head of People with: • 7+ years of people operations/HR/TA experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role, preferably at a healthtech company • 3+ years experience successfully managing at least 2 direct reports • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills • Strategic perspective combined with creativity to create experiences that allows our employees to grow • Ability to manage the people operations function and the talent acquisition function • A drive to create the future of mental health care

Target is taking a big step this year by permanently closing their stories on Turkey Day.

I love that Target does that. But every business cannot close - like hospitals, pharmacies, gas stations and so on, because people need to be able to access their goods/services.
In the retail environment it makes no sense to open on certain holidays when historical sales don't justify employee expense.

You work long hours. You may get a 30-minute lunch break but not always. You may get to use the restroom but you wouldn't want to because the Walgreens bathrooms are filthy. Everyone will yell at you. They have no idea of their insurance requirements. They think everything should be 15 minutes or less. Management will not back you up on anything. You will always have to do more with less. Good luck.
