A #stressful #AT&T day
Work 12 hours... making your higher ups and the craft you manage as happy as you can... all the while dealing with customers that can be very demanding. Document everything for the 16 techs you manage... get home and 15 minutes later get called out for a cut cable or down pole.

Be prepared to work hard... many a time I worked longer than 24 hours straight. They have great benefits and compensate you well. Many holidays were lost to my family as I was on call. Know your field and be able to manage several different types of people.

Drama at #AT&T
I defused the situation by being professional and courteous... I said what I was going to do and followed through ... always keeping the people involved updated with my progress.

I had the most fun @ #AT&T when
When I found out that I got the service excellence award I felt good knowing my hard work has paid off.

My advice to people interested in working at #AT&TCORP as a #SPECIALOPER.TECHNIC ...
Go for it. The benefits and salary are good. Most managers are good to work for.

The biggest mistake I made as a #SPECIALOPER.TECHNIC at #AT&TCORP ...
Allowing someone to take credit for something that should have my credit.

A #stressful #AT&TCORP day
Our dept was very highly regarded by government. Military usually came to visit on occasion. It was stressful when they would visit only because they would sometimes stand next to one of us and observe and ask questions. They were always very pleasant, but they were the customer.

Drama at #AT&TCORP
We very rarely interacted with customers. Our dept. was National Security Emergency Preparedness. We supported very high level government and military. We all had security clearances. If one of us had an issue with a co worker we said what had to be said very diplomatically and it was done.
