Recently relocated to the Cocoa area without having any networking or job connections. I have been doing office administration for 20+ years and I have auto title experience. I was recently contacted by email by a courier company out of WA state and yes I know most of these WAH positions are scams, however, I did my due diligence and found that everything they stated on their website concerning the BBB and other references to the company being legit proved true. I went ahead and signed my ICA with them sent them a copy of my id for 1099 purposes as they said they only paid monthly. I did the work I was supposed to do accurately and a decent time frame everything was going great until 2 days before I was supposed to get paid. Now!!! I can't get paid and con not reach anyone at the company nor do they respond to my telephone calls, voice mails, emails or text messages and trust me I have begged, demanded, threatened to turn them in etc and still all to no avail. So now I not only need a job and fast but this has set me back a months worth of all my bills because I had to make up from savings what I did not get paid. Can anyone please help with any of this either a job and/or some good sound advice on how to get the $2700.00 that they signed the agreement to pay me? Thanks

I have been getting offer at home to work for usalogistic,lisa robertson i receive 4 more by different companies $20 for every package ship $600 a week.i did everything that was ask of me.but now received a message saying i was decline.i don't have anything on my background the neighborhood i stay in is a very upscale area.i am a very hard worker and if they have check for anything. everything is authentic just was looking for a opportunity to be able to provide and still show up for my children emergencies and not worring about being fired.the employment i am looking for is stability,strutor and a opportunity to advance and be able to provide for my 6 children's not looking for a hand out.but real stability,financially stable.i have the wisedom ,determination,and strength to be extraordinary and that what i will be.i think the places sending me this info is stealing my info.i know that if they read my resume it speaks for it self.everything else is authentic so i know that it may was trying to steal my info. the job it fits and the pay suppose to be okay. just want real employment that covers this area of my life till i am finish with what i am amazing at.and that is never give up.i thought all these jobs are real but i been getting a lot of can i send a check to your account.calling me all the time i am looking for a job not games.

I was sought out from this company from a job board for project management. The company has opened a Chicago office and are hiring for this office. As part of the screening process they require applicants to train on line and applicants are paid when they complete training. Applicants also are required to sign a contract that stipulates the screening, training and salary to be given at the end of training. Applicants who have scored 3.5 %+ will meet with local managers to begin the hiring process and begin working on local projects. The company headquarters are in China and have several offices in the U.S. Any thoughts?

I received this in my email box today: "We are happy and very excited about the potential you and your experience will bring to the table! XXX-XXX is offering you to join our business and help it grow working distantly and then in a new office. You will be working from your home office during your probationary period (3-4 weeks). At the end of the probationary period you will have earned $1,920.".....

I am sure that this is a scam but I wanted to let people know that scammers are still out there.

There is a lot of confusion right now with me and my search for a job. I am aware of the scams with the fake checks, but am I skipping out on an opportunity simply because I'm avoiding the interviews on google accounts?

What can anyone tell me about DOT Foods, Inc. I want to know 'how' they hire people and has anyone heard of any fraudulent postings re; hiring jobs thru job boards like Indeed, LinkedIn etc.

Who & how do I forward a e-mail I received that I feel jobcase may be interested in reading & maybe investigate . I dont want to share much info this way though, I dont feel comfortable. Hi, has anyone been contacted by the TV show Undercover Boss recently for a job you applied for? I applied for a job in marketing and the company was confidential. I got contacted yesterday by the show supposedly but I have my suspicions as I already was offered something similar before and turned out to be a con/scheme. They even sent me a check in the mail for expenses which turned out to be fake. I don't want to answer until I know for sure. But there is no contact information in the email which is making me even more suspicious. Has it happened to anyone else?

I responded to a CL post that was advertising for CSRs. Heard back from the company and was scheduled for a phone interview. The interview time came and went with no call from them. A couple hours later I got an email from the same company congratulating me and sending the "on-boarding" paperwork. The company is Live Agent Solutions. They have an office in NYC (where I am supposed to submit my paperwork.) However, they answered my original application email via the Craigslist reply mail and not by a company email address and the only phone number listed is a cell number with no voice mail set up. Is this a real company or a scam?
