My advice to people interested in working at #AmericanSchoolofReynosa as a #DeanofStudents,EnglishCoordinator,ElementaryTeacher ...
Initially you must separate the school from the city. It can be overwhelming. The city is cruel and very dangerous for all, but foreigners especially. This school however, is a great place to teach, grow, and to develop a stronger you. Teachers whom demonstrate sincere expectations will receive prosperous behaviors and performances from their students. Also, opportunities are available for the strong willed and parents are a great support when they believe in you. Something I earned a lot of, and that's why I stayed for ten years. Strictly because of the elating appreciation and ongoing growth with all ASR affiliates.

The biggest mistake I made as a #DeanofStudents,EnglishCoordinator,ElementaryTeacher at #AmericanSchoolofReynosa ...
Not asking for more compensation nor benefits for the extraordinary work I provided as well as enduring the exhausting dangerous living environment.

Creating public activities, such as Science Fairs, Festivals, etc. These activities were most stressful because we were an English school in a non speaking English community. Therefore, understanding our audience and displaying what was being learned, desired much compromising and creativity. Skills I know well.

Drama at #AmericanSchoolofReynosa
Keeping a professional character and environment is an important task, therefore, communicating problems with solutions was a daily practice. As well as listening to the cause of angry and resolving in a professional manner.
