Probably the biggest mistake would have to be not demanding more than $1.10 pay increase after 6 years.

Not so much stressful as frustrated, there was zero room for advancement, or pay increases for that matter. After 6 years at the "Cohen-Cohen" agency, on was making $1.10 more than when I started. Not good for employee retention. The staff, unbeknownst to the "Cohen-Cohen" owners were ALWAYS looking for another, better, job.

I didn't really experience that in the office environment.

Job security. However, I was in a Staff position, 99% of the positions are in Sales working strictly on commission, with very little security.

I worked specifically in the HR area calling on applicants who had resumes posted online. There were only Sales positions available, however we were told to say that we were interviewing for several positions that were currently open, which wasn't exactly true, which made it difficult to say "I was proud to work for work for American Income".

The management team is great

Was informing my sga that I notice and had evidence of fraud and misappropriation of funds happening and identify 100% who it was. I learned that the company doesn't care if you win fairly or not. Did you win? That's all they show that matters. My entire team was starved out and I bowed out. Our ethics didn't align. The 100s of people who were told that I can stand behind the company not being able to make good on the dream of hope I created on false and empty promises .

Had to pay $200 for insufficient job training.
