To stand out at a job you need to... #Alaskavillavecouncilpresidents
The way I stood out with them was cause I stayed busy working and double checked my measurements before I made my cuts and that I caught on quickly and I worked with the foreman so he got to see all my work in person and we got fast once I got it down. We were changing out like 3 to 4 windows and like 2 doors a day. Plus I was able to make straight cuts right away and made sure all my windows and doors installed worked properly and they were right on almost every time with no hours worked over. It was a fun and good paced work. I liked the job. Although it is only seasonal.

My advice to people interested in working at #Alaskavillavecouncilpresidents as a #Laborer/carpenter ...
It can be a fast pace work cause we were in the weatherization program changing windows and doors and they were a friendly group of people. They are very enthusiastic about working and staying busy and making sure you do good work.

The biggest mistake I made as a #Laborer/carpenter at #Alaskavillavecouncilpresidents ...
I made a few wrong cuts, and I also was involved in an accident with an employee falling off a four wheeler cause the four wheeler hit a pot hole on one side tire and it had a help assist steering, which made it very squirrelly on turns and it made the four wheeler jerk hard to the left, the coworker fell off rolled a few time but was badly hurt with a dislocated shoulder.

It wasn't very stressful, we were more productive.

Drama at #Alaskavillavecouncilpresidents
Our boss said if we ran into a problem like that call him up and he will deal with the problem. Mostly questions we couldn't answer.
