I felt thankful for my job when #AetnaRxHomeDelivery
Aetna is a long standing, reputable insurance company. I made descent money and did rewarding work. I also worked with a Great and knowledgable team!

My advice to people interested in working at #AetnaRxHomeDelivery as a #PharmacyTechnician ...
It is a good reputable place to work. You, though, have to be tenacious and driven. It's not rocket science, but can be hard work.

The biggest mistake I made as a #PharmacyTechnician at #AetnaRxHomeDelivery ...
I didn't keep an eye on time and didn't follow through and contact a patient with an update. She thought her script was processing, but it still had issues that her md needed to fix. I felt horrible because when I give someone my word, I want to follow through.

At the end of the year, we had people who wanted to get their prescriptions filled before day end December 31 so their deductible was already met and they had FSA and HSA money to use or lose. We had to work a lot of overtime and people were on edge.

I had a man call and I had to tell him that his son's Adderall script was expired. He had a total break down and threatened to come and shoot me. My supervisor had heard me trying to de-escalate the call, but stepped in. Normally, de-escalating a caller was easy for me. I would assess the issue, let the patient know how I would handle it, and make sure that I contacted them back with updates or that it was taken completely care of.

What I loved working at #AetnaRxHomeDelivery
I absolutely Love working with people. I am the type of person that when helping a customer, I would treat them the way I want my parents to be treated.
