I finished my year of Benefits. Does EDD extend me or do I have to refile. I have tried to file a new claim but I can’t get passed The I’d.me area. What do I do? #unemployment #claim #california
Hello. I think you should contact one of the IRS Private hotline as disputes about claims can be resolved from there. If you qualify for a claim, you would be told.

In Cali If benefits expire they will automatically apply you for the Pandemic unemployment insurance ( may not be accurate name) if you are approved you will receive a notice of determination for the extended benefits. Benefits should continue with little to no delay based on your original claim date. After PUI benefits expire, they will then apply you for FED-ED. And if approved you will have another 11 weeks or so. Again unless otherwise notified, they do it all. Hope this helps! B

That is a great suggestions...the way I find out if they applied for yet extension is to log into the edd website...me personally would refill (if it let’s you) while you wait for the response follow the other suggestions...need to chat, James...call me please 🤔
