The worst thing I saw a coworker do at work was when I was working as a server for a catering company. The party which we were working at was a combination BYOB and Open Bar for some odd reason. The guests brought so much alcohol to this party that we had to keep receiving it and bringing it down to the basement of the house. Well, this coworker managed to pilfer about 3 bottle of champagne, 2 cases of beer and a bottle of vodka before the party was over. Lucky for them the party goers were so zonked that no one seemed to have noticed. Not a great idea for the job and very hard to comeback from if they were caught.
A piece of electronic telecom equipment, with which I had no involvement, was on my workbench when I arrived to work one morning. I took the equipment with me to the warehouse intending to inquire with our lone warehouse associate/material handler about this equipment. I thought he would perhaps know from where it came and to whom it may belong so that I might return it. I assumed someone left it on my bench after working with the device. Instead of answering my question, he grabbed the device and tossed it backwards over his shoulder at great height and distance smashing it into racks of legacy home office rack equipment which the company had just purchased and received into the warehouse.
Sneak off with another employee to have sex in the bathroom.
A. Loudly and publicly berate a fellow employee over a misunderstanding
B. Loudly and publicly accuse a fellow employee of trying to rack up over time, when the 'accused' wasn't eligible, was off the clock, and a sweet older employee
C. Supervisor apparently bating their own support staff... destabilizing them; creating irrelevant conflicts, which could be turned against support staff- if they took firm stand; demeaning the work and the position the support staffer (to their face first as joke then escalating to serious) was hired to fill; creating a hostile and unpredictable work environment...which runs hot and cold for no apparent reason.
Taking shortcuts with disregard to one's own safety or the safety of co-workers
Seen someone do a drug deal right in front of me an nothing was done about it.
A friend of mine die of a heart attack at work and I wasn't "allowed" to render CPR by my supervisors. Even though I had just recertified 2 days earlier. All I was allowed to do was "stand back and let's us take care of this" even though the supervisors had to call 911 to be walked through how to administer CPR by the 911 operator because they had no idea on how to do CPR!
Eat, assemble product, handle money and lick fingers in-between 😋😜
