I get tons of offers from folks who have no idea how to use the English language. They'll even tell me that "thou has a job" available. Who uses the word "thou" in modern English? Anyway, when they tell you they will send you packages to "re-package" then I know something is up.

Bad Spelling. Asking you to provide personal information like full birth date including year or to submit copies of your Identification before there is any formal job offer. [Remember, there are some government or other formal positions that require this information.]
Often, the email address/contact name is different. For example, email@example.com in email. In the body, it says my name is Scott Peterson from Some Company. Then there is a different sign-off like Mary Francis. Big promises like 6 figure jobs with no experience. There are so many other ways that it is hard to tell sometimes. Just be cautious about your personal information and if it sounds too good to be true, it probably isn't.
Poor grammar or misspelling words.
Promise of money for trying "free products" if you pay for shipping.
From my experience,a local guy with an out of state phone number.
Giving them your bank information, social security number “recruiter” from over seas that cannot speak English
They send you a check to cash,then you send them back a portion
