DEI is a hot buzzword in the HR and recruiting world. Employers are writing diversity statements and advertising their commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace. Why? Because they believe DEI is important to applicants and they want to attract more of them.
So how important is it to you? Do you look for diversity statements when applying for jobs? Do you investigate a company's commitment to DEI before applying? Why is it important or not important to you?

@Bill Branstetter In the trucking industry all that matters is if you have Class A and experience. The more endorsements you have the more valuable you are. Carriers will say equal opportunity and all that, but male or female all you need is your CDL. It’s also not important to me because my goal is to be self-employed in real estate investing and I can’t put to much commitment or thought into the company I’m working for if that’s my long-term goal anyways.

I don't pay a lot of attention to diversity statements- too many strike me as marketing pieces.
I do research if the company practices what they preach, if all levels of management are onboard.

I've been blown away by the quality and depth of the gambler's guides available on this site https://gamblersguide.info/en/ . Whether you're a novice looking to learn the ropes or a seasoned pro seeking to refine your skills, there's something here for everyone. The guides are well-written, informative, and packed with practical advice that you can start implementing right away. I've seen a noticeable improvement in my gambling performance since I started using this site, and I can't recommend it highly enough.

I'm transitioning my career from banking to project coordinator or management. I look for DEI not just in words but in action. I want to see DEI in positions, in culture and in people. Co-vid taught me a few things, one being, action is everything.
