Hello everyone. I recently joined this fantastic community in search of a job overseas. I am from Algeria and am wondering if it is possible for me to find work in the United States?

Welcome to Jobcase community. Unfortunately, jobs are available for people who live in the U.S. not overseas.

@Abdalla Wadie Allaoui I recently posted about this very question. I am attaching a link for you to explore regarding work visas. There is also information about family member J1 and J2 visas on the website. Good luck!!

The fastest way to get a job as a foreign national is to go job fairs near you and to go to the local unemployment office and get a case worker to help. The third option is to go to a temp agency and hire an employment recruiter that takes a percentage of your earnings after a job is found. The forth opportunity is to respond on LinkedIn because most of the users are head hunters. The fifth way is to contact your embassy and companies in your country and ask for a US job referral to act as a referral. Most jobs are acquired quickly thru referral only and you don't wait as much due to insurance and bonding requirements. I'm often told to work as a manager at a billion dollar temp employment agency because I help people acquire jobs for free. Good luck

No

@Abdalla Wadie Allaoui Although Jobcase only targets U.S. residents, here is a link that will provide information for a temporary work visa. You can also stay connected for any other potential network opportunities. Best of luck!

Hi @Abdalla Wadie Allaoui welcome to Jobcase, unfortunately jobs that are available on jobcase require a person to reside in the US and be permitted to work in the US.
