You can apply via their website. It took 4 months from the time i applied to the day i actually got to start. They do an extensive back ground check so answer the questions truthfully. Follow each step they give you. The process is fairly painless. Just takes a while. The pay is good but i will be honest. Depending on the career path you choose you will give up your entire life for the postal service. Go clerk or cca.
Patience. It's a long process. You have to keep checking your email because everything is time dated. You have to do urinalysis, fill out paperwork for a long background check, and if given a conditional job offer fingerprinting and at that point it will usually be done at your orientation. You can't have any gaps in employment. I also have been told by people they were called as references. Goodluck. It's a good job with total job security.
I heard it much easier to get hired go on line and apply keep password I took a class to pass a test years ago
Pass a drug test and put up with inadequate management and give up your life
Yes apply on line, after you pass it ,next thing be truthful on all answers.usps does back ground checks. Remerb it's about telling the truth
i had to sign up to take tests. i think you can apply online now.
Go to USPS.com set up your account and search for all jobs listed in your area. Once that is done make sure you check your email daily and your spam folder so you don't miss an email and the opportunity for the job. Then you have to be patient while they do the background check.
