It will benefit you in many ways, Blue Shield is a very well known company with A LOT of teaching resources and training skills. I worked there for 2 yrs and when I left I knew I wanted to be in the medical field and coding/billing ended up being my place to shine. Learning the systems and the basic knowledge of insurance is a great place to start and that’s what I did. I went to school with all I learned at blue shield and graduated at the top of my class with a 4.0 and a job less then one month after graduation.
